Uncle Daddy’s Bar and Grill at Door B8 of the Lifestyle District now opens 9am to 2pm Monday to Saturdays to accommodate students and other nearby diners who wish to take brunch with their bottomless iced tea and soup.
Owned and operated by couple Armin and Delia Paradero, the place is named Uncle Daddy’s because that’s what all of their nieces and nephews call Armin. Delia’s sister Alice Cachuela manages, Charissa Joy Ang does the books, and Armin’s younger sister May handles the cash.

The family run establishment offers a wide variety of Uncle Daddy’s Choices for brunch.
A sampling includes Sweet and Sour Pork (PhP 69), Adobong Kangkong Crisps (PhP 49), Fish Fillet with Black Bean Sauce (PhP 59) and Stir Fry Chicken Pepper PhP 69).
Other items available for the “daytime menu” includes Lumpia shanghai, Pork Chop, Chicken Fillet, Creamy Veggie Patty and Daing nga Bangus.
Initially, Uncle Daddy’s Bar & Grill opened evenings only for the often SRO only Lifestyle District crowd who count the following among their favorites: Bacon Parmesan fries, Pork Sisig, Spicy Chicken Wings as appetizers and Fish & Chips, Fish Pinipig, Beef tapa, lengua de Res Entomatada, Baby back ribs, crispy pork belly, Salt and pepper spare ribs.

You can chill out at Uncle Daddy’s either before or after a hard night of bar hopping and partying at Lifestyle District’s other establishments with their live acoustic music from 8PM-12MN Wednesdays and contemporary hits at the same time sked on Thursdays to Saturdays. Braver patrons can sing-along with the group onstage or simply request their favorite hits from the band.

With an ambience like this, it’s easier to stay the night and into the next morning with beverages reasonably priced at P45 for Red Horse P45, San Mig Light and Pilsen, and P40 for Colt 45. Soft drinks are P45 and bottled water P20, which is pretty affordable by Lifestyle District standards.
One of the couple’s worst kept secrets is their young but talented chef, Grazyl Lou I. Roa, an NC-II Certified and multi-awarded graduate of the St. Rita’s College of Balingasag, Misamis Oriental.

A two-time SilverAwarde for the 14th Kumbira (for Set Menu, 2010) and the 15th Kumbira (Pica-Pica Plate, 2011), Chef Grazyl was also awarded Best in Culinary by St. Rita’s College when she graduated this past March.
Uncle Daddy’s Bar & Grill is open 9AM-2PM for brunch and 5PM-12MN Monday to Saturday.
