Renowned worldwide its culinary excellence and fine dining experience, Italianni’s has a proven track record in hosting multiple social sustainability programs that involve its direct community.

Italianni’s s Centrio launched the 7-day Summer Kids Chef Academy last May 18, 2015.

“We are very delighted at the positive feedback of the public to this endeavor, the first batch of kids have already completed their modules and have received their certificates,” said General Manager Danna Espra.

“Their dedication and enthusiasm throughout the week-long program has encouraged us to invite more kids, 4 to 12 years old to enroll for our second batch scheduled to start on June 1, 2015.”

The academy aims to nurturing the participants’ ingrained hospitality, hone their innate ability to work as a team and interact socially while having fun.

The academy is open to children 4 – 12 years old with a minimum of 5 and maximum 10 children per batch. They will have 7 days exposure, 3 hours daily from 9:00am to 12:00nn.  The seven days activities cover two days class orientation and restaurant tour and 5 days on the floor training.

“This workshop teaches participants how to greet, seat, introduce and serve guests,” said Kristina P. Spine, store supervisor. “They will also tour the kitchen, have food demonstrations and experience making their own pizza, pasta and more. This is a perfect combination of fun and learning activities that will provide them the best summer experience only here at Italianni’s Centrio.”

The enrollment fee of PhP 4,500 includes snacks for the duration of the academy, a certificate of completion, art supplies and graduation souvenirs, free Bistro Circle Premier Card, and exclusive Italiannis’ chef jacket, toque and apron.

At the end of the summer workshop, all the participants will gather for a graduation ceremony at Centrio’s Activity Center.

Kids are allowed to have guardians wait outside the premise of the restaurant for the duration, or at its function area.
