Northern Mindanao’s only regular TV program promoting small business marked its 3rd Year Anniversary recently with the MAGTV na, Asenso Ta Expo Year 3 held at the Macasandig Covered Court last Saturday April 23, 2016 from 7am-4pm.
“This is a business Expo with exhibitors from local businesses, industries and local government units,” said Jimmy Esmero, ABS-CBN Northern Mindanao Entertainment Head and MAGTV na Executive Producer. “We had lectures on livelihood projects guests can undertake, and sharing of best practices by successful local entrepreneurs.”
Mrs Litlit Mejia shares the SLERS experience with young entrepreneurs.
These included talks on hog and goat raising by Pilmico, paper making and card design by Salay Hand Made Paper, Inc. and Ka-Negosyo loans for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) by BPI.
SHAPPI founder Loreta Rafisura and Mercedes Pelaez-Mejia of SLERs also shared their respective experiences in starting and growing their respective businesses.
MAGTV visitors had their first look and taste of Brownie Bites during the day long event.
In the afternoon, ABS-CBN awarded Best Bida Awards 2016 to the following: Young Entrepreneur- Alexander “Onat” Tano, Tattoo Artist (Young Entrepreneur), Henry Binahon (Success Story), Laser Blast (Negosyonique), Ma. Antoniette Acapulco (Negosyong Pamilya), SHR Multi-Purpose Cooperative (Besto Coop) and Mrs. Loreta Rafisura (Asensadong Nanay).

Esmero said the winners were culled from nominees whose personal experiences with their respective businesses were featured over MagTVna, Asenso ta during the 2015-2016 period.
MAGTV Host Mommy Marge Velasquez and Barangay Gwapos present Brownie Bites, the latest pasalubong craze in town.
Bite Me Up Food Corp., makers of Brownie Bites, the latest snack craze to hit Cagayan de Oro, was introduced to the expo goers during the program by MAVTV Host Mommy Marge Velasquez together with the Barangay Gwapos.
Bite Me Up Food Corp’s BROWNIE BITES as Raffle Prizes were awarded as raffle prizes during the fair.
The product, which is crusty and fudgy, is now being distributed in select outlets in Limketkai Mall (ES Pasalubong, Pasalubong Center beside Island Souvenirs, and Prime Meat Deli at Rosario Strip), Thai Me Up (Capistrano and Centrio), Laguindingan Airport (Halal Pasalubong) and Vjandep Bakeshop (Bulua National Highway).
