Friends of outgoing SM CDO Mall Manager Clara G. Elizaga held a surprise despedida and thanksgiving salo-salo at Ah Fong Asian Cuisine July 27.

Clara was SM Mall Manager for the last 5 years and with support from the SM Mall Operations Team, hosted landmark events with the local community like the Department of Trade and Industry’s Kahimunan Trade Fair, the Oro Chambers OroBest Expo, the Misamis Oriental Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Inc. (MOFCCCII) Chinese New Year Festival, the Cagayan de Oro Hotels & Restaurant’s Association (COHARA) Sinuglaw Festival, Promote CDO’s Higlaaay Festival, Parasat’s Discovery Kids Science Fair and core events of major festivals of the Department of Tourism Region 10, City Tourism Council and City Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office.

Assistant Mall Manager Cons Arce has taken over since July 30 for Clara, who will take a two year break for work to pursue her masteral studies abroad.
