Bite Me Up Corporation, makers of Brownie Bites, Cagayan de Oro’s latest pasalubong craze, is a proud sponsor of the 1st Tsada Awards, launched last June 22, 2016 by ABS-CBN at the Centrio Mall in Cagayan de Oro City.

Tsada Awards was conceived by the ABS-CBN Northern Mindanao to honor 10 outstanding individuals who brought pride to Cagayan de Oro city.

Four years ago, the project had its progenitor in the Bilib sa Kagay-anon project which however, was not continued the next year. Among its awardees were Stephanie Sol (1st Ms. Teen Philippines); Neil Catiil (#1 PH Triathlete); Elpidio M. Paras (Cable TV Pioneer); and Ian Lariba (Sports, Table Tennis) who recently represented the Philippines at the ongoing Rio Olympics in Brazil.

“We are looking forward to a 5 year run where we will present the other batches of awardees,” said program host Nicole Datayan. “We intend to continue with the awards during every City Charter Day on June 15, to recognize Kagay-anons who have excelled in their respective fields, gained national and international recognition, and who have made remarkable contributions or left a lasting legacy to us here in Cagayan de Oro.”
