Monster Kitchen Academy will highlight the products of its pastry and culinary graduates in a Valentine’s Bazaar on Feb. 12-13, 2016 at the Centrio Mall Activity Center.
Celebrity Chef and TV Sandy Daza will highlight the two-day food bazaar with a free cooking demo of his iconic Pinakbet Rice on Friday, February 12 at 4PM, followed by a meet-and-greet autograph signing at 5PM.
Chef Sandy hosts a popular TV show (Foodprints) over Lifestyle Channel and is a lifestyle columnist of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. He is also the author of a cookbook, a culinary blogger, food consultant, and is a perennial judge at the Cagayan de Oro Hotels & Restaurant’s Association (COHARA) KUMBIRA, the biggest culinary festival in the Philippines outside of Metro Manila.
For those who want more, Chef Sandy will hold a whole day session of “My Favorite Recipes” at Monster Kitchen Cathedral Branch (facing Gaston Park) on Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 9am to 4pm. Among the favorites to be presented include Paella Pinoy, Baked Fish in Capers, Glazed Crispy Chicken Hoisin, Chili Coconut Shrimp, Beef in Oyster Sauce and Asian Salad. Besides Chef Sandy, the first day of the bazaar will also feature a Color Flow Cookie Workshop (two sessions at 11am and 2pm) interspersed with live band music from popular bands.
Day 2 on February 13 will feature two sessions of Paint and Decorate cupcake decorating workshops (11am and 2pm), My Monsterrific Valentine’s Experience at 3PM,
Followed by #MyForever (Dating Game), Friends and Music, Chef Mon’s Valentine Cheesecake and Eu Nice’s Live Acoustic Band from 5:30-8PM.
